So maybe we aren't the largest demographic, or the loudest one. But we do exist, and we are special people. I decided to start this blog in order to chronicle my experience as a teen writer, and hopefully give some advice to other teen writers, because adults are well-meaning, but they have forgotten just a little how tough life can be on us. It's just the way life works.
I am fourteen and have been writing seriously for more than a year - not very long at all, but one day that will change. I have been searching out advice and tips for teen writers even more recently, but there just aren't very many. Writing forums are great, and the adults are very helpful, but I felt like someone needed to target just teens - we are different in almost everyway, from generation to biology.
Currently, I'm closing in on 'The End' for the rough draft of a novel - the first time for me. Other than that, I have countless ideas and two others in the works. After I finish this one, I want to dive into an idea that has been following me around incessantly.
I'm going to honestly try to make longer, at least weekly posts that contain some real value (hopefully!).
